This is your starter pack to excellence. Your 10 week immersion into the “best of” of all five Empowermotion modules. We will take you and your new peer network on a journey of self-discovery and habit implementation that covers all five areas of Empowermotion in weekly sessions.

Why 10 weeks you ask? It takes 17 repetitions for the human mind to internalise new information, 21 days to build a habit and up to 66 days to retain a habit. We will start with the most important habits so you will have a full 70 days to commit them to muscle memory.

What’s more, it will be fun and easier than you think with the help of like-minded high performing individuals and your dedicated coaches.

By the end you will:

Our 10 Week Core Curriculum is split into 10 modules that draw on our five core areas: Habits, Personal Finance, Physical Performance, Mindset and Identity. While the key foundations stay the same, our coaches tailor the sequencing and detailed content to fit the Cohort.

1. Habits

Change never lasts unless we build the habits to sustain it. That is the core message of Empowermotion. Everything we do is built around implementing the habits you need for the change you want. It takes 21 days to implement a habit and 60 days not to lose it. That is why our core curriculum is a 70-80 day programme. We’ll make sure the key habits stay with you long after you have completed the training.

2. Personal Finance

Do you know how much money you would need in order to become financially independent? Have you figured out what your wildest dreams would cost and what action to take in order to build the necessary (financial) foundation towards those dreams? Are you financially literate enough to not be screwed over by banks, brokers and advisers when planning your financial future? Do you know at what age you can retire in comfort? Are you aware that a pension fund with 2% in management fees will take you 10 years longer to accumulate the same nest egg than a fund with 1% in management fees? The Finance module will cover:

  • Financial literacy covering all the basics of investing towards financial independence
  • Understanding different options at different stages of life
  • Building and automating your personal financial architecture
  • Implementing financial habits that ensure you will reach your goals

3. Identity

What is your life’s purpose? Do you know your strengths and if you do are you able to work to them? Or do circumstances require you to work on your weaknesses instead of to your strengths? Are you able to bring your best self to your work every day? In the Identity & Purpose modules of Empowermotion we explore:

  • Your Purpose and how to find it
  • Your Identity and what that means in terms of your strengths, weaknesses and work
  • Motivation and how to maintain it
  • Achieving a state of highly focused flow

4. Physical Performance

Would you like to get more done? Have better physical health? More mental and physical energy? To start every day as if you mean it and be surprised you still have great energy after a long day at work? The Physical Resilience modules are the foundation of much of the mental resilience work in Empowermotion. We focus on:

  • Implementing the physical routines and habits of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs, innovators, artists and leaders
  • Creating an energy management plan that will take your efficiency to the next level
  • Implementing a plan for long term fitness and health

5. Mindset

The quote “you get what you put your energy to” is one that holds true for most of us. Whenever we really put our minds to something, whenever something becomes important enough that we must find a way to do it – we will. For most achieving continuous, high mental performance remains a difficult goal to achieve. In the Mental Resilience modules of Empowermotion we cover:

  • How to find your focus and how to refocus at the snap of your fingers – literally
  • Best in class Time Management
  • How to choose your Must Win Battles and to be sure to achieve them every day
  • Never a Bad Day: the power hour planner
  • Implementing the physical routines and habits of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs, innovators, artists and leaders
  • Creating an energy management plan that will take your efficiency to the next level
  • Implementing a plan for long term fitness and health

Why is there a personal one-on-one pre-session with one of the coaches before I can join a Cohort?

Places are limited and Cohorts are usually overbooked. People love their Empowermotion experience partly because they really enjoy learning in the assigned peer group. That is no coincidence: we design each group carefully for optimal fit. That is why we have a thorough coaching call with each joiner. To make sure we understand what you are looking for. And to make sure we have a group that fits you. That way you can be sure you are joining a group that suits you with the curriculum adjusted to fit your needs. In case we conclude that the content or group are not suitable, we will reimburse your fee.

How many people are in a cohort? 

A Cohort has between 15 and 20 people and will include two captains (alumni, who return to support a group) and the instructors.

Where are people from? Are Cohorts country specific?

I have a busy day job where I am not always able to predict whether I can make it to class for 10 consecutive sessions.

People who join Empowermotion are likely to lead busy lives. Our captains and instructors make sure to catch up anyone who misses a class

What resources will I get?

The Core Curriculum really suits people of all ages and levels of experience. Our instructors make sure that the experience is as tailored as possible by making sure they understand what it is that you are looking for. The more specific shorter courses such as Personal Finance Half Day are more specifically tailored towards people who show an interest in deepening their knowledge in a certain area.

How are free spots for entrepreneurs and students allocated?

Each Cohort has a limited number of free spaces for students and early stage entrepreneurs. Contact us to find out more.

Why should I choose this course and not another one? There are a number of courses out there that claim to help you change your life.

None is designed according to the latest science the way ours is. And none offers the same value for money. We have a fantastic coaches to pupils ratio and you will be sure to not just learn but implement a large number of changes. Did you know a habit takes 21 days to take hold? And 60 days of continuous work to not lose a habit again? That is why our Core Curriculum is 70 days long. 

Is there a lot of homework?

Not a lot. We believe in the power of small, continuous changes. The minimum amount of necessary work between sessions is small. That said, nothing stops our pupils from making extensive use of the tools between sessions and most choose to do additional reading or to engage with other Cohort members.

Is it possible to have direct contact with the instructors to ask questions?

YES! We encourage that. All instructors are accessible during the Cohort. In addition you will have your very own accountability partner and two captains.

What is an accountability partner?

An accountability partner is someone from your peer group (Cohort). Accountability partners keep each other motivated and accountable. Behavioural research shows that it is much easier to break a promise to oneself than to others. That is why our pupils make their promises of progress not only to themselves but also to the accountability partner, the group and the instructor.

Can I stop in the middle of the curriculum if I feel it is not in line with my expectations?

Sure. Although we strive to make sure we understand your expectations and you understand ours before we start so as to minimise disruption to our Cohorts.
